THIRDHOME manages all the logistics for low membership and transaction fees. In this way, members easily get more use out of their second homes. And they no longer have to rent a home or villa when they go on vacation. As of September 2017, THIRDHOME offers members nearly 10,000 vacation-home properties to choose from. ThirdHome seems to be trying to expand; they've been negotiating affiliation agreements with a number of larger timeshare developers.
Through its rental program, individuals and families that would never have had access to the luxury society’s elite enjoy, now have a chance to do so. Third Home first started as a service helping owners get the most out of their second homes by offering to exchange time in other homes for letting others stay in theirs. This gave them access to luxury vacation accommodations in some of the most spectacular destinations around the world for a minimal cost. In May 2018, ThirdHome formally launched its new luxury home rental service. This expansion builds on its exchange program, which gave luxury homeowners the privilege to vacation in other owner’s homes in exchange for time in their properties.

Also, no one pays the entry level membership fee of $2,500. They let everyone enroll for free as long as you make a qualifying timeshare deposit or exchange your home. If you own a luxury timeshare like Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton, you can deposit your weeks and get "keys" - their version of points. You need to deposit more than you would get in return. Having earned the trust of luxury homeowners worldwide, Third Home recently drew on the portfolio of properties it built through its exchange program to create its rental service.

There is even a safari in a private reserve on a 20,000-acre estate in South Africa, which comes with its own private security. The bigger the property and the more exclusive, costs more keys, likewise the bigger your home, the more keys you will earn. Once you have earned keys, you can then use them to book stays at the most luxurious homes in the world. The first difference is when you allow other members to book a stay in your home, you earn a type of digital currency known as keys. You can use these keys anytime you like – there is no exact match of exchange dates required.

When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they just transferred me to another department. The second person I spoke to was equally unhelpful and just kept repeating the same script.

I would be fine exchanging my high end timeshares in Third Home or using MVC points if they improved their business model because timeshares are not my personal home with my possessions in it. But their business model right now does not make much sense depositing timeshares because it is hard to get a good exchange. But I am sure some people on TUG will figure it out. They feature homes from all over the world, so there is something to cater to all tastes.
THIRDHOME: Luxury Vacation Club for Owners of Second Homes
Them there was the incompetent management, while they were knowledgeable about the industry, no one can deny that. It was as if they tossed aside all self-respect for being the CEO's mindless puppet. They did everything that was asked of them by the rule and abusive CEO, regardless of their opinion on the matter.
Do you recommend Elite Alliance or Registry Collection as a superior product? It seems like Elite Alliance has a similar caliber and type of offering. Thirdhome.com has a consumer rating of 2 stars from 1 review indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. A luxurious, stress-free vacation with my family.
Allowing people to write bad reviews
At this moment, I don’t have any negative experiences. The crazy CEO had an anger management issue, and he knows it all too well. After expressing his anger to someone by viciously berating him/her, he would selfishly try to turn over a new leaf already without apologizing. He would smile and act friendly to everyone as if he had not done terrible things.
The management does not respect the personal boundaries of the employees. You will forced to work even if it's already outside of your work hours and despite not being paid for the extra work. You have nothing else to do besides comply since the politics here may get you removed from the company. I have taken 41 trips and easily saved $200K+ in rental fees. According to anonymously submitted Glassdoor reviews, THIRDHOME employees rate their compensation and benefits as 4.3 out of 5.
According to reviews on Glassdoor, employees commonly mention the pros of working at THIRDHOME to be career development, benefits, management and the cons to be compensation, senior leadership. The CEO was slimy person who loved to abuse his people. He would suck the soul of his employees with a smile.

The quality of the furniture would not be per se a part of the calculation, but the equipment available at the home is. So, all of the items are taken in consideration for this calculation. On the top of that, a good and reliable customer service.
